New special edition Suzuki Swift Attitude released

Special edition Attitude gets Suzuki Swift Sport-esque styling combined with insurance-friendly engine and £109 per month PCP deal

Suzuki Swift Attitude

A new special edition Suzuki Swift Attitude has been released: a car that channels its inner Swift Sport towards a cheaper, more insurance-friendly package.

It’s based on the entry-level SZ3 trim, but gains a range of styling upgrades inspired by the range-topping warm hatch. The Attidude’s face gains extra aggression thanks to a mesh grille with chrome trim, front fog lights and a front splitter which, like the Sport, features a carbon effect.

The same finish is carried onto the deeper side sills and lower edge of the rear bumper, and a large rear wing sits on top of the boot lid. The SZ3’s steel wheels and wheel trims are ditched for a set of 16-inch alloy items, which have a twin tone black/polished finish. Rear privacy glass and LED daytime running lights are also included.

There’s six colours to choose from: a gloss Fervent Red is standard, while Pure White, Premium Silver, Super Black, Mineral Grey and Burning Red are each a £485 option.

Inside, the Attitude is much the same as the SZ3. That means standard equipment includes air conditioning, a leather steering wheel, electric front windows, and a hi-fi with built-in DAB radio and Bluetooth.

There’s one engine to choose from: a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine producing 89bhp and 120nm of torque. Tested to the latest WLTP emissions standard, it returns a combined 55.4mpg and emits 124g/km of CO2.

The Swift attitude is available to order now, priced at £13,499. Suzuki’s current zero per cent PCP offer is further sweetened by a £500 deposit contribution, which means that buyers who place a £2,459 deposit up front can pay the same £109 per month over a four year agreement as the more basic SZ3.
