Used Peugeot 2008 (Mk1, 2013-2019) – What do owners think?

The Peugeot 2008 Mk1 has regularly performed well in our Driver Power owner surveys. Reliability appears to be good, too

Based on its performances in our Driver Power satisfaction surveys, the Peugeot 2008 Mk1 is a dependable car to live with. Throughout its time on sale, the Peugeot was a regular feature and was often rated very highly. For example, the Peugeot 2008 Mk1 was rated 33rd out of the top 75 cars in the 2019 Driver Power survey, with owners praising the Peugeot for its styling, cabin build quality, practicality and reasonable running costs.

Reliability

The Peugeot 2008 Mk1 shares a lot of its features with the Peugeot 208 Mk1 supermini, which isn’t a car that’s performed amazingly well for reliability over the years. However, it seems Peugeot managed to iron out a lot of those kinks for the 2008 Mk1, since that car has been generally praised well for reliability in our Driver Power owner surveys. That doesn’t mean the Peugeot is devoid of glitches and faults, however – for instance, temperamental Bluetooth connectivity is one of the more prevalent issues with the 2008 Mk1.
