The Toyota Yaris Hybrid emits just 75g/km of CO2 in entry-level Icon guise. That makes it the cleanest car you can buy that doesn’t need to be plugged in to maximise efficiency – although it comes at a price.
While we’re impressed with the latest model's improved interior quality and bold new look, the Yaris still falls short of the class leaders in terms of driveability. Still, it’s roomy and the most efficient car in its class, but if you want to enjoy your driving we’d look elsewhere.
