Porsche Cayenne facelift

The facelifted Porsche Cayenne has been spied on test, featuring subtly revised styling

The Porsche Cayenne is set to receive a mid-life facelifted next year, and these spy pictures give us our first glimpse of the changes in store.

Like the recently updated Panamera, the Cayenne looks set to receive slightly softer, more stylish LED lights at the front and rear, as well as subtly redesigned bumpers.

Changes to the engine line-up are expected to mirror those in Panamera, so we’re expecting the 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V8 in the Cayenne S to be ditched in favour of a new twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 producing 420bhp. There may be small tweaks to efficiency elsewhere in the line-up, too.

Porsche already offers a Cayenne Hybrid and it’s likely it’ll introduce a new Cayenne S E-Hybrid plug-in, just like the updated Panamera range. It’ll be capable of 0-62mph in around six seconds with fuel economy of more than 80mpg.
