Deal of the Day: Pretty Peugeot e-208 is a bargain EV at £190 per month

Brand new, in-stock Peugeot e-208 for just £190 a month is our deal of the day for October 5

Peugeot e-208 - front
  • £190 per month
  • Up to 217-mile range
  • Mid-spec Allure Premium + model

We’ve always liked the Peugeot 208 - one of the best-looking superminis on the market - but it has usually been hampered by a high price. Not with this deal though; leasing specialists DreamLease were offering the electric version of the 208 for just £205 per month and now they've lowered the price to £190 per month - a stunning car at a sensational price and it’s in stock.

The e-208 is an ideal, high-quality and good-to-drive urban runaround, but be aware that there’s a 5,000-mile a year limit at this price and a £2,284 up-front payment. That still makes this a bargain, especially when the model in question is the generously-equipped Allure Premium + model.

That means you get all the bells and whistles you’ll need: Peugeot’s 3D i-Cockpit with a small, sporty steering wheel, seven-inch touchscreen with navigation plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, alloy wheels and all the safety features you’d expect.

This e-208 claims a range of 217 miles when fully charged and can be rapid-charged at a public fast charger at speeds up to 100kWh to give an 80 per cent charge in 30 minutes. Its all-electric, automatic powertrain is swift, too, with 0-60mph in 8.1 seconds.

That sharp exterior styling is mirrored on the inside - it’s one of the nicest cabins we’ve seen in a small car with excellent quality, although rear space and boot room isn’t the greatest amongst its rivals. Our biggest criticism, though, is usually around the price – this car has a £33,045 list price, which makes this lease deal all the more special.

By way of comparison, Peugeot’s website is currently showing a PCP deal for the same car - over 37 months with 6,000 miles per year - with a monthly payment of £331.69 after a deposit payment of £2,301 and a final payment if you want to own the car at the end of the term of £12,115. Alternatively you can just had the car back.

As with all our deals of the day, this is a great deal on a car we’re happy to recommend and is independently chosen as a deal of the day. Terms and conditions will always apply, deals are subject to availability and prices are subject to change.
