Nissan X-Trail Platinum

Luxurious Nissan X-Trail Platinum is limited to just 200 units

The Nissan X-Trail Platinum is the most exclusive version of the firm's rugged off-roader yet – and only 200 examples of the £29,180 special edition will be built.

A few subtle styling upgrades mark out the newcomer, including additional underbody guards at the front and rear, as well as chrome side steps.

On the inside, the Platinum is kitted out with luxury options like leather upholstery, electrically adjustable heated front seats, sat-nav and a reversing camera.

The only engine option is a 171bhp 2.0-litre dCi diesel with average fuel economy of 44.1mpg and a six-speed manual, although an automatic gearbox is also available.

The price of exclusivity isn’t as high as you might think, as the Platinum's price-tag of £29,180 is £400 less than the Tekna on which it’s based.
