After its initial reveal at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the revised Mitsubishi ASX has gone on sale in the UK. The small crossover SUV, which has to see off stiff competition from cars like the SEAT Ateca and Nissan Qashqai is priced from £15,999.

The most significant change to the ASX is the new front end, which has the brand's new 'Dynamic Shield' design that also features on the larger Outlander. The revised design keeps the car up to date, adding a new grille, front bumper and foglamp surrounds. There's also a new colour available - Lightning Blue. Little has changed inside beyong new seat cushions and upholstery.

The trim range has been simplified into trims 2, 3, 4 and 5. All models come with 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, a leather multifunction steering wheel and rear privacy glass. The standard safety kit includes Mitsubishi's combined traction and stability program (M-ATSC), hill hold assist and seven airbags.
