Mercedes E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet prices

Mercedes has confirmed prices and specs for its facelifted E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet models. The Coupe starts at £35,095, while the Cabriolet costs from £38,465.

Two spec levels are available for both models – the SE can only be had in E220 CDI form, while the AMG Sport can be had with a choice of three diesels – E220 CDI, E250 CDI and E350 BlueTec; and one petrol engine, the E200.

Mercedes claims that the new engine line up is up to 21 per cent more efficient than before.

Both cars feature a revised look, with new part-LED headlights, new bumpers and new tail-lights. The Cabriolet’s Aircap wind deflector now automatically raises at speeds above 25mph and closes at speeds below 10mph. The soft top can be opened or closed in 20 seconds while driving at speeds of up to 25mph.

The E-Class line-up also features the firm’s latest technology, including the new Stereo Multi-Purpose Camera, which uses two cameras to produce a 3D view of up to 50-metres in front of the car, to feed image data to many of the new or upgraded safety systems.

All SE models feature 17-inch alloys, DAB radio, partial LED lights, Active Park Assist, Attention Assist and Collision Prevention Assist; and leather upholstery.

AMG Sport adds 18-inch alloys, upgraded front brakes, an AMG bodykit, and an AMG steering wheel and floor mats.

From October, buyers of the AMG Sport car will be able to spec the AMG Sport Plus pack (£1,795), which adds 19-inch wheels and some extra red-coloured AMG addenda. Also on the options list is full LED headlights (£1,280).
