Lexus CT200h hybrid hatch updated for 2017

Lexus revises the CT200h range for 2017, bringing more equipment and rejigged trim levels

Lexus's CT200h hybrid hatchback has been on sale for nearly six years now, but Toyota's luxury arm isn't ready to retire it yet. A 2017 model year update version has been launched with extra equipment, new features and a reprofiled Sport variant.

There are no changes to the exterior for most of the range, but the Sport model has been lifted with black detailing on the grille and mirror housing, plus black 17-inch alloys. Lexus is claiming the CT200h Sport has a "simplified" standard equipment list, but it still includes features such as Lexus Navigation, a reversing camera, privacy glass and dual-zone climate control.

While that car starts from £23,745, buyers can also spec a Sport Plus pack which brings parking sensors, keyless entry, heated front seats, a sunroof and metallic paint for £2,500. The executive Edition grade also benefits from extra kit, while F-Sport trim can now be specified with leather, a sunroof and a reduced price Premium Navigation system.

In addition, new paint options have been added to the CT200h's colour pallete. New Copper Brown and Sky Blue metallic shades feature, while a new Sonic Titanium hue is optional. The range kicks off from £21,995, and is available to order now.
