Past generations of Land Rover models have suffered from reliability niggles in previous years and the Range Rover was no exception. Land Rover has worked hard to improve its cars' durability, but it finished a disappointing 22nd out of 29 manufacturers in our 2021 Driver Power survey.

The Range Rover is a safe car thanks to that light yet strong aluminium shell and buckets of hi-tech active safety features. Euro NCAP rated adult occupant protection in 2012 at 91%, while the car scored 86% for safety assist and a maximum five-star rating overall.

Land Rover kits the Range Rover out with an impressive array of safety equipment as standard, including a full set of airbags, ABS, ESP, seatbelt reminders, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and trailer stability control.

Warranty

The Range Rover comes with a three-year, unlimited-mileage warranty, which can be extended for a specific valuation according to the age, mileage and condition of the car. Land Rover’s extended warranty does include both mechanical and electrical parts coverage.

Servicing

Service intervals are every 15,000 miles. Land Rover offers fixed price servicing packages to help spread the cost of scheduled maintenance.
