Special-edition Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 launched

The new, limited edition Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 is now on sale in the UK, and is yours for £12,000

Fiat has added a new, limited-edition Punto to its UK line-up, called the Jet Black 2. On sale now, prices for the Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 start from £12,000 – almost £2,000 more than the entry-level hatchback – and for that you’ll get distinctive styling and extra standard kit.

Available as a three door only, the Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 lives up to its name thanks to a Crossover Black metallic paint finish, tinted rear privacy glass and smoked 12-spoke 17-inch alloys.

The Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 gets body-coloured side skirts, a matching rear spoiler, electric-blue side stripes, plus a bespoke rear badge that helps this limited-run model stand out.

Fiat hasn’t limited itself to visual changes though, and the range of exterior improvements also stretches to a sports suspension and front fog lights.

On the inside, the Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 gets a leather steering wheel and gearstick. Fiat also includes cruise control, voice-activated Bluetooth connectivity and automatic climate control as standard.

As for standard safety equipment, the Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 gets five airbags, rear parking sensors and adaptive cornering fog lights are just some of the standard features.

Underpinning the Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 is the Fiat's 76bhp 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, fitted with the Italian manufacturer’s Start&Stop tech.

According to Fiat, this “combines ample performance with low running costs”, and should see the special-edition Punto hit 0-62mph in 13.2 seconds and return 49.6mpg.
