New Fiat 500 Star and Rockstar editions launched

Sitting at the top of the Fiat 500 range, the two new editions add fresh colour combinations and more standard equipment

Fiat has added two new models to the 500 range, called “Star” and “Rockstar.” Priced from £15,395 and £15,565 respectively, both packages add an updated colour palette, extended interior customisation options and more standard equipment.

The Fiat 500 Star can be specced with a new metallic pink paint finish and comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior trim and a fixed glass roof as standard. Buyers can also choose from a further eight body colours, including “Avantgarde Bordeaux” and “Epic Blue.”

Inside, the 500 Star gets a digital instrument cluster and a seven-inch infotainment system as standard. Its upholstery is available in one of two colours, both of which feature the “500” logo embroidered into the backrests. The dashboard, which until now was only available in the car’s exterior body colour, can also be had in a choice of two colours.

The new Fiat 500 Rockstar shares the same specification as the 500 Star, albeit with satin finish trim, a new matte Portofino Green paint finish and pinstriped upholstery. Like the Star, it comes with two new dashboard colours which contrast the bodywork and a further nine paint colour options.

Both the Star and Rockstar editions are available as both a hardtop and a convertible with the latter commanding a premium of £2,650 over the former. Both models are also available with a choice of either a 68bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine or Fiat’s 875cc TwinAir two-cylinder petrol, with 84bhp.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are integrated as standard on both models. Fiat will also provide every new 500 owner with access to an exclusive playlist, called “120 years of songs,” which celebrates the firm’s 120th anniversary.
