Citroen Grand C4 Picasso prices

Citroen has announced pricing for the seven-seat Grand C4 Picasso. The range kicks off at £19,200 for the entry-level 120bhp 1.6-litre petrol VTR model and rises to £27,855 for the range-topping 150bhp 2.0-litre diesel in Exclusive+ trim. Prices across the range are £1,700 higher than an equivalent five-seat C4 Picasso.

Four trim levels will be offered to buyers, including the familiar VTR, VTR+, Exclusive and Exclusive+. Standard kit across the range includes a panoramic windscreen, LED daytime running lights, seven-inch touchscreen, air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels and cruise control.

Spec VTR+ (£20,460 – £22,455) and Citroen will add automatic lights and wipers, DAB radio, rear parking sensors, rear picnic tables and font fog lights. Mid-range Exclusive trim (£22,760 – £25,455) adds larger 17-inch alloy wheels, LED indicators, fog lights with cornering function, 12-inch HD display, reversing camera and satellite navigation.

Range-topping Exclusive+ trim (£25,160 – £27,855) features 18-inch alloys, a panoramic sunroof, privacy glass, LED 3D rear lights, drivers seat massage function, all round parking sensors and blind spot monitoring safety system.

Based on the new EMP2 platform, the new Grand C4 Picasso is 110kg lighter than its predecessor, which helps to boost fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions. The new 92bhp 1.6-litre diesel e-HDi 90 Airdream engine also delivers sub 100g/km CO2 emissions and returns best-in-range 74.3mpg.

Along with the frugal 1.6-litre engine, two other diesel motors are also available, including a more powerful 114bhp version of the same engine. A 150bhp 2.0-litre BlueHDi diesel is also offered claimed to return over 65mpg and emit 113g/km of CO2. The two petrol engines available include the entry-level 120bhp 1.2-litre VTi motor and a larger 155bhp 1.6-litre THP petrol engine. Citroen predicts the petrol variants will make up only 10 per cent of orders.
