Citroen once again teams up with Benefit Cosmetics to create a special edition DS3, on sale now for £18,745

The collaboration between Citroen and Benefit Cosmetics is clearly proving a successful one, with the French carmaker and make-up manufacturer teaming up for a fourth limited-run Citroen DS3 by Benefit.

On sale now, the new DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit is the first special edition in the range based on the three-door supermini’s soft-top guise. It starts from £18,745 and features bespoke design cues taken from Benefit’s ‘Stay Flawless’ primer.

This includes a Polar White paint scheme, contrasting black fabric roof, and Fuchsia Pink wing mirror and wheel cap detailing. As with previous models, Benefit’s ‘Gabbi’s Head’ logo makes its way onto the semi-concealed B pillars, finished on this occasion in Fuchsia Pink as well.

Inside, a black and white polka dot pattern carries on the ‘Stay Flawless’ look, and the cosmetics brand has also made its presence known with a gloss white trim for the air vent surrounds, gear stick and dash. There are distinctive black velour floor mats, too, that feature a fuchsia Benefit badge and edging.

Alongside the Benefit-inspired styling changes, Citroen has added equipment from the DStyle Plus trim level, including 17-inch ‘Bellone’ black alloys and the Connecting Box system, which features Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

Further justifying the £1,000 price hike over the standard DStyle Cabrio it’s based on, the Benefit edition comes with the City Signature Pack. This adds automatic digital air con, rain sensitive wipers, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and interior mood lighting, plus automatic headlights and a front central armrest.

Under the bonnet, the regular DS3’s 120bhp 1.6-litre VTi petrol engine and five-speed manual gearbox remain unchanged, so the Cabrio DStyle by Benefit should be good for a 0-62mph time of 9.9 seconds and a 118mph top speed.
