Back to the drawing board at Citroen with new You!, Plus and Max trim levels

You!, Plus and Max trim levels are designed to simplify the Citroen buying process

Citroen trim range

Having a clear and concise avenue to buying cars is crucial now more than ever for car manufacturers and in relation to this Citroen has just announced new You!, Plus and Max trim levels to ‘enhance consumer trust in the Citroen brand’.

Available on every single Citroen passenger car apart from the e-Berlingo and e-Spacetourer, the new set of trim levels should reduce delivery times according to the French brand. The Citroen website has also been given a refresh to make it ‘more navigable and functional’.

The C3 supermini retains its £13,995 starting price tag in You! form. With the mid-range Plus starting at £17,490 and Max from £19,440. C3 Aircross, C4, C4 X and C5 X also now come with the same selection, although the e-C4 and e-C4 X feature You!, Max and range-topping ‘e-Series’ -  which adds a bi-tone roof, a heated steering wheel, and wireless smartphone charging, as well as heated front seats and an upgraded Citroën sound system. The C5 Aircross comes in Plus, Max and e-Series trim levels.

Citroen’s focus on comfort should be noticeable even on the base-spec You! variants. The C4 and C4 X in You! trim still come with advanced comfort suspension, advanced comfort seats, along with a 10-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity. There's also decent standard safety equipment on these entry-level models with lane departure warning, brake assist, cruise control, speed limit recognition and rear parking sensors.

As for the 'Plus' models they gain a rear-view camera and sat-nav across the range and 'Max' adds keyless access and adaptive cruise control (but only on automatic and electric versions).
