The combined 217bhp makes the eDrive Active Tourer fairly fast.

The lithium-ion battery can be charged from a mains socket in two to three hours.

The 2 Series Active Tourer can travel up to 24 miles on electric power alone, with a 70mph maximum speed.

The fuel tank is smaller than other 2 Series Active Tourers, restricting the range.
