Audi S8 Plus unveiled with 597bhp - pictures

The Audi S8 Plus is the fastest ever 'S' model - it will rocket from 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds and onto a top speed of 190mph. 

It's available to order from October this year, from £97,700.

As is to be expected, the S8 Plus features all the usual luxuries you would expect of a car like this. It has a full leather package, Matrix LED headlights, BOSE surround sound system and keyless entry.

Quilted leather seats with contrast stitching hints at the performance on offer in the S8.

Sports Adaptive Suspension is standard to improve the driving experience of the S8, while Dynamic Steering is also part of the upgrades. 

The S8 Plus uses the same 4.0-litre TFSI V8 engine as the standard S8, but power has been boosted from 513bhp to 597bhp.

The car features a new rear spoiler, a smattering of carbon fibre, darkened tail lights and a gloss black front grille. 

New, 21-inch alloys and 'Floret Silver' paintwork complete the updated look.
