Audi RS7 video review

In this video review we test the lightning-quick Audi RS7

It's hard to believe that the new Audi RS7 can keep pace with a Ferrari F40 from 0-62mph. As if that isn't enough, it'll give the Audi R8 V10 a good run for it's money, and the Mercedes SLS AMG stands no chance.

Choose the correct spec, and the Audi RS7 will have a top speed of 189mph. While the thumping 4-litre V8  has 700Nm of torque and 552bhp. What you're left with is a car that can reach 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds.

Comfort has never been the focal point of the RS range - the new RS7 is better than past models, but there's still room for improvement. The model in the video review has optional sports suspension, which means it has still springs as opposed to adaptive air suspension. However, in dynamic mode it feels unacceptably stiff, while comfort mode will just about do.

Overall, the RS7 is an extremely desirable car, and it's extremely quick, too. With a starting price of £84,000, it's £15,000 cheaper than the BMW M6 Grand Coupe, and £25,000 cheaper than the Porsche Panamera. It's main rival is the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG, which costs around the same, but feels a little bit more playful. Watch the video review to find out more.
