Sporty new Audi Q2 Edition #1 revealed

Audi's new Q2 crossover gains special edition trim with chunky styling upgrades, available to order next month

Audi is following on from the new Q2 launch with a sporty 'Edition #1' version of the compact SUV. It gets unique exterior styling details, grey paint and extra standard equipment. 

Externally the Q2 Edition #1 gets styling broadly inspired by Audi's S-Line models. The unique Quantum grey exterior paint mixes with black C-pillars, lower bodywork and mirror housings, while the Audi's four-ring badge is emblazoned on the C-pillars.

New 19-inch anthracite black wheels with a five-spoke design are added, too. while LED headlights are standard fitment. Inside, kit such as sports seats, a leather multifunction sports steering wheel, black and amaretto part-leather upholstery and changeable ambient lighting also features.

The Q2 Edition #1 comes with the choice of a 148bhp 1.4 litre petrol (in manual or auto form) and a 1.6 litre diesel. The entry level petrol produces claims 49mpg and CO2 emissions of 130g/km, while the diesel achieves 61.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 120g/km.

Prices for the Edition #1 in the UK are yet to be revealed, but it'll be available to order next month with deliveries before the end of the year.
