A previous winner, Auto Care 1 is still an impressive app, but it’s hard to overlook the price. It also takes some time to get your head around how it works, but there’s no doubting the features, which include the ability to print, import and export data. The app allows you to sort your fuel costs by date, economy, cost and a range of other parameters.

The ability to document the amount of ‘city driving’ sounds useful, but it’s extremely hard to put an accurate percentage on it, so it’s of limited use.Auto Care is a powerful app, but others here are more user-friendly.
