If you can manage with space for only three pairs of skis or two snowboards, then this Fabbri carrier is very attractive for less than £40. You can see where the money has been saved, though. The bar attachments are only U-bolts, with nuts but no spanner, although there is a key for the security cover. There’s no height adjustment, but it does the job.
