New SsangYong Tivoli priced under £13k
Full prices and specs revealed for SsangYong's Tivoli rival for the Nissan Juke
SsangYong has priced up its Tivoli compact crossover and it’ll start at supermini-rivaling £12,950.
The Korean company’s first steps into the B-SUV segment that’s dominated by the Nissan Juke, will see it offer a car that’s far more fashion-orientated than any other car SsangYong has previously offered. It arrives in June with a simple line-up of three trim levels, a petrol and a diesel engine and the choice of two transmissions.
SE kicks off the range at £12,950 and comes with cloth upholstery, 16-inch alloys, cruise control, adjustable steering (different levels of assistance: Comfort, Normal and Sport), Bluetooth and seven airbags. There’s the choice of a 126bhp 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.6 diesel with 113bhp and a six-speed manual ‘box.
EX at £14,600 adds grey or beige leather seats, 18-inch alloys, dual-zone climate control, a seven-inch colour touch screen with a rear view camera, heated front seats, fog lamps and a load cover, with a six-speed automatic gearbox coming with a £1,000 premium and four-wheel drive (only with the 1.6 diesel manual) adding £1,250.

Top-drawer models can be ordered with the full choice of two- or four-wheel drive, petrol and diesel and manual and auto boxes. It comes with 18-inch diamond cut alloys, keyless ignition, front and rear parking sensors, privacy glass, a rear spoiler, auto headlights and sat-nav. Prices start at £16,000 and rise to £19,500.

In a bid to appeal to Fiat 500 and DS3 customers wanting to upsize to the class above, SsangYong is also taking the new step in offering a personalisation programme called ‘My Tivoli’. Options include a Styling Pack for £400 which adds a contrasting roof combination and a red leather interior package for £350.
All Tivoli’s come with SsangYong’s five-year limitless mileage warranty, with first deliveries expected in June; diesel orders arrive in August.
