SEAT Exeo Ecomotive

New SEAT Exeo Ecomotive is capable of returning 62.8mpg, and is available to order now

SEAT has announced the addition of a ultra-efficient Ecomotive model to its Exeo line-up.

The technology will come as a welcome addition, too, as 40 per cent of all SEATs sold so far this year have featured the Ecomotive badge.

The new Exeo Ecomotive is powered by the VW Group's 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine, which emits 117g/km of CO2 and fuel consumption of 62.8mpg. It is available with two power outputs – 118bhp or 141bhp - but both manage the same economy and emissions figures.

All cars get stop-start, a brake energy recuperation system and low-rolling resistance tyres, as well as a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.

What’s more, the Ecomotive engine is available across the range, in both saloon and ST estate, from base spec S  through to flagship Sport Tech cars.

The SEAT Exeo Ecomotive is available to order now and starts from £20,040.
