Peugeot Partner van gets new look and tech for 2015

Updated styling, new tech and a more efficient engine range for mid-size Peugeot Partner van

Peugeot's popular Partner van is set to get a mid-life facelift, with the new model featuring the current Peugeot family face, new active safety and convenience tech, and an updated engine range. It'll be shown at the Commercial Vehicle Show next month and be on sale soon after.

The Fiat Doblo rival receives some minor revisions to the exterior, including the firm's new trademark face found on its range of passenger cars, with a revised grille and bumper design and new lights at the front and back.

Inside there's a host of new equipment available across the range. All models get Hill Start Assist and tyre pressure warning, while 'S' models and above will get Active City Braking as an option. Cruise control and a speed limiter are now standard on SE models and above, while a new TomTom integrated sat-nav with smartphone connectivity is fitted on Professsional models or above.

Also new to the 2015 range are two Euro 6 BlueHDI diesel engines. These feature an additive that reduces harmful nitrogen oxide emissions, but needs to be topped up every 12,500 miles.

The 99bhp 1.6-litre BlueHDI units are capable of emissions as low as 108g/km, thanks to stop-start as standard. The old Euro 5 units will be available alongside these until June 2016, plus a 1.6-litre petrol engine and the Partner Electric full-EV.
