Kia UK updates Online Booking Service feature

Korean brand enhances its one-stop app that manages car maintenance needs

Kia UK servicing

Kia UK has upgraded the Online Booking Service used by UK owners to keep on top of their car's servicing and maintenance requirements.

Teaming up with British digital automotive specialist eDynamix, the new system - accessible via a smartphone app or over a computer - is claimed to be a big step forward over the previous system, with an easier-to-use user interface.

Kia launched its Online Booking Service in 2014, through which Kia owners have been able to view service intervals, book a maintenance slot at a local dealer, while seeing accurate dealer-specific pricing, too.

Now incorporated as part of the car-maker's MyKia app, the new digital booking tool can now integrate live MOT information from the DVLA. This means the MyKia app can handily let you know when your MOT is due and, also, inform you of any model-related manufacturer recalls.

Following the upgrade, a fresh booking amendment feature is now available that allows you to not only book through the app, but also amend, cancel or even change the dealer all without picking up the phone.

Commenting on the new service Chris Lear, After Sales Director at Kia UK, said: “This new system provides our customers with an easy to use and convenient way to make online service bookings with our dealers. This solution provided by eDynamix has improved our processes, the customer experience and gives our dealer network a great online presence for service.”
