Range Rover Sport SVR review - pictures
The Range Rover Sport SVR boasts 542bhp, a top speed of 162mph and a 0-62mph time of just 4.7 seconds.
If the standard Range Rover Sport doesn't feel sporty enough, the SVR is capable of lapping the Nurburgring in just 8 minutes 14 seconds and is 10-15% sharper dynamically everywhere compared to the standard model.

It's easy to mark out the SVR thanks to an imposing front end with aggressive bumpers and standard 21-inch alloy wheels.
On the road, the SVR feels more alive and controlled than regular models thanks to a 40kg weight reduction and a 20% hike in roll stiffness.

The inside is bold, especially if you opt for a combination like our test car. There are bespoke new seats and new machined metal door and dash inserts.
The new seats are heavily bolstered, while in the back there are two more sculpted seats with an occasional third seatbelt.

Under the bonnet hides a 542bhp supercharged V8 engine, putting out a thumping 502lb ft of torque. The chassis, brakes, interior and suspension have all been tinkered with for the SVR over the regular Range Rover Sport.

There's what can only be described as an occasional third rear seat in the back, but you'll draw the short straw if you're unlucky enough to be sat between the two scultped outer rear seats.
The Range Rover Sport SVR has the cornering composure and braking power to match those scorching performance figures. It belies its vast size with crisp handling and a precise turn-in.
