Dacia reveals Laureate Prime special editions

Dacia celebrates 10th anniversary with Duster, Sandero and Logan MCV special editions, priced at £500 more than Laureate models

Dacia has revealed new Laureate Prime special edition versions of its budget Duster, Sandero and Logan MCV models. Revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, the special editions mark the 10th anniversary of the Renault-owned firm's European relaunch and can be had for just £500 more than normal previously range-topping Laureate editions.

All three new Dacias get a new metallic Cosmos Blue paintjob, which combines with a dark metal finish on the alloy wheels and door mirror housings to lift the exterior. Inside, blue stitching is added to the upholstery and seatbelts, while the floor mats get similar treatment.

Interior equipment is similar to that found on the flagship Laureate spec in all models, with the addition of Dacia's MEDIA NAV Evolution seven-inch touchscreen sat-nav and multimedia system. Climate control, cruise control, a leather steering wheel and electric windows are carried over from top-spec cars.

Sandero Laureate Prime models start at £9,295 for the 1.2 TCe 90 petrol, while an extra £1,000 will get you a 1.5 dCi diesel. The Logan MCV costs £10,295 with the same price jump for the diesel, while the Duster Laureate Prime is priced at £13,995 in dCi 110 guise with two-wheel drive. For a four-wheel drive model, the price jumps to £15,995.
