Citroen e-C4 Onto

Citroen has struck a partnership with subscription service Onto, which sees the new e-C4 in ‘Shine Plus’ specification become available on the all-in-one service. 300 e-C4s will be available on Onto. The first vehicles will be available in October.

Onto started in 2017 with the aim of accelerating the number of EV owners and providing an alternative to traditional car ownership. It currently has more than 3000 active subscribers who will soon be able to gain access to the new Citroen e-C4. Through the monthly subscription service customers will get the e-C4 with insurance, 1000 miles per month free charging at over 11,000 points, servicing and maintenance included.

The e-C4 has a 50kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 134bhp and 260Nm of torque. The electric drivetrain gives a range of up to 217 miles (WLTP) and supports CCS rapid charging, coming standard on all models, enabling an 80 per cent charge in as little as 30 mins on a 100kW rapid charger.

Also included in Shine Plus spec is Highway Driver Assist, which is a suite of driver aids including advanced Active Safety Brake with video and Radar, Speed Limit information and Extended Traffic Sign Recognition, Adaptive Cruise Control and Active Blind Spot Detection.
