Size choices in this three-piece kit are a little eclectic. The 200mm long-nose pliers feel giant, the 180mm combis a little average and the 155mm sidecuts quite compact. And the reduced leverage, due to those small levers on the sidecuts, compounds an irritating problem with the duff cutting blade. It will chop, but in our tests it failed to do so cleanly. Still, this isn’t a bad kit. The grips are okay and all three pliers are pleasingly free moving. Unfortunately, the Yamotos are better and marginally cheaper.
