Mobi Washer

Access all areas with washer

If you live in a flat or somewhere without direct access to your car, cleaning it can be a real chore. But this new mobile pressure washer allows you to fill up and rinse wherever you are.

The Mobi Washer takes only a few seconds to put together, and no tools are needed. Filling up is also easy thanks to a large opening for the tank, although the angle means it can be tricky to reach full capacity without spilling water. In practice, a full tank is enough to rinse an average-sized family car twice – perfect if you give your car a pre-wash soak and then rinse off the shampoo. The adjustable pressure was also precise.

We tried it connected to mains and 12-volt in-car power sources, and performance was no different for either. However, when using the cigarette lighter socket, we found the power cord a little short for larger vehicles – although the long hose meant you could still stretch round them.

When full, it was fairly heavy to transport around, and despite having wheels, it’s too low to grab and roll along the ground comfortably. Still, this is ideal for drivers who don’t usually have the ability to wash their car themselves.

Verdict

Mobi Washer
Price: £99.99
Problems? The 12-volt power lead was a little short, and unit is heavy to move when full. Better storage needed for nozzle when not in use.
So why buy? Generous tank, good pressure, easy to operate, compact.
