Jabra Bluetooth phone headsets

Price: £99 (Stone), £49.99 (Arrow), £99 (Cruiser) Contact: www.jabra.co.uk

How about this for a perfectly harmonised Bluetooth trio? These new products from communications giant Jabra offer something for everyone.

First up is the £99 Stone. It resembles a hearing aid, with no boom to rest on your cheek, and when used with the charging cradle, it promises up to eight hours’ talk time. There are also two microphones, Noise Blackout Extreme technology to eliminate background noise, plus Status Display to tell you when you’re connected or have less than two hours’ talk time left. Soft Touch volume control lets you customise the levels.

If you don’t mind having a microphone on your cheek, the £49.99 Arrow is a cheaper option. It weighs 10g, and has automatic volume control, digital signal processing and acoustic shock protection.

In addition, there’s the £99 Cruiser speakerphone, which clips on to your visor and can link to two mobiles at once. It announces a caller’s name or number, and an FM transmitter lets you play your MP3s via the car stereo. The music fades out when a call comes in.

 * Maker’s claim: “Stone creates a wireless earvolution, hear every word with the Arrow, and Cruiser is the first speakerphone to use Dual Microphone technology.”
