Navigon 3310 MAX and 6350 LIVE sat-navs

Price: £144.99 (3310 MAX); £299.99 (6350 LIVE)

Two new Navigon devices are set to shake up the sat-nav world, with a huge list of features.

First up is the 3310 MAX. For under £150, it brings European mapping and the firm’s MyRoutes software. The latter calculates journeys based on driving style, so if you prefer to take the scenic route, the 3310 won’t direct you along motorways.

Users can also control points of interest with POI-Click. And the Reality View Lite feature shows junctions from street level, so it’s much easier to see where you are in relation to the view on-screen.

A more advanced choice is the 6350 Live, which comes with connected services. These include standard features, such as traffic updates and safety camera locations, plus the new Clever Parking Live function. This locates car parks in the area, and when combined with real-time updates – soon to be available from NCP – can find you a space nearby.

The 6350 is the first Navigon to get Live services, which add extras such as Google Local Search to the regular list of features.
