Watch maker TAG Heuer has a long association with motorsport, having been a partner to the McLaren Formula One team since way back in 1985. And it’s celebrating the 80th birthday of Jack Heuer – great grandson of company founder Edouard Heuer – by introducing a new range of motorsport-related chronographs.

There are three Festival of Speed watches to mark TAG Heuer’s support for the legendary annual event at Goodwood in West Sussex. All three feature leather straps and chequered flag imagery. The £2,995 Calibre 16 Speed Edition – limited to just 250 pieces – has a 41mm face, while the range-topping £3,750 Day-Date Chronograph gets a 43mm face and anthracite dial.

If you don’t have quite such a big budget, there’s also a line-up of 18 cheaper TAG Heuer F1 watches. Each has been engineered with the McLaren team and tested by drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.

The non-chronograph watches are available in steel, black or black and red. The chronographs have 42mm faces and come in steel and brushed ceramic, black and red or titanium finishes. Prices range from £925 to £1,395.

TAG Heuer also offers a smaller ladies’ watch as part of the same range. This 37mm model has a steel and black ceramic strap, and is embedded with diamonds. It costs £3,395.
