Our 308 SW is racking up the miles, meaning we need to top up with AdBlue fuel additive. It has to be done every 12,500 miles and is there to help reduce harmful nitrous oxide emissions.

Need to know: Drivers should top up AdBlue as soon as possible when needed, but usefully the car will count down the miles, too.
In the coming weeks, the 308's winter tyres will be ditched for summer rubber, which should restore some of the car's sharp handling.

Touchscreen adds to the interior's classy feel, and comes with plenty of apps. If only it was more responsive, though.

Winter tyres blunt the 308's performance slightly, but swapping to summer rubber will restore the Peugeot's sharp handling.
We bought a small AdBlue top-up for £7.84, which barely filled it up. 10-litre canister costs £10.33 and is a much more sensible buy.

Cornering is sharp and the 2.0-litre diesel engine packs a punch.
The 308's cabin design looks clean and uncluttered, but operating the climate, entertainment and sat-nav controls via the touchscreen is frustrating, as it's slow to respond and there's too many menus.

The handling is good, but the large alloys give a nasty shock when you hit even a small pothole.
The 308 also becomes unsettled over larger dips in the road.

The boot is completely flat, plus there are storage compartments at the sides and runners to lash items down to.
Seat position needs to be high for a clear view of the dials, as the steering wheel hides them for some drivers.

Touchscreen adds a classy look and feel to the interior of the 308, but it's not the easiest system to use and can be fiddly to operate on the move.
