<span>The Nissan Micra is a supermini that rivals the&nbsp;</span>Ford Fiesta<span>,&nbsp;</span>Vauxhall Corsa<span>&nbsp;and Mazda 2.</span>

<span>Buyers can choose from four trim levels: Visia Limited Edition, Visia, Acenta and Tekna.</span>

<span>The only engine option is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder unit that’s available in naturally aspirated guise with 79bhp, or supercharged guise with 97bhp.</span>

<span>The Nissan Micra is great as a city runabout as a result of its good visibility, light steering and responsive controls.&nbsp;<span>Unfortunately, at higher speeds the Micra can feel out of its depth and unsettled on rough roads.

<span>All versions get Bluetooth phone connection, electric front windows, remote central locking and a trip computer.</span>

The flagship Tekna model is well equipped featuring sat-nav, keyless entry and parking sensors.

<span>Despite this big car kit, the Micra feels a little low rent inside. It is robustly built, but the choice of materials look and feel cheap.</span>

<span>The Micra’s five-door only body is roomy and features a decent 265-litre boot.</span>
