The inspiration for this Argos-sourced, no-frills RAC charger is clear. Right down to the casing and controls’ design, it’s similar to the CTEK. But it can’t match the real thing’s performance. The sparse instructions don’t recommend prolonged use and insist on removing the battery before charging. It also sparked during misuse.
