The C-Class Coupe takes on the BMW 4 Series.

The Mercedes-AMG C63 version will rival the new BMW M4, too.

A sleek cabriolet will follow the coupe further down the line.

There are still no full shots of the rear, but this is our best look yet.

<span>The engine range will be carried over, with a choice of turbocharged petrols and diesel engines and possibly the Mercedes BlueTEC hybrid powertrain.</span>

<span>The front end of the Coupe will be familiar to existing new C-Class owners, but the bonnet appears slightly elongated and the lights have been stretched back. </span>
